Glühhaus is German for "glow house" — glühen, to glow like an ember; Haus, home. We named the brand after the feeling of walking into a warm room on a cold night.

It started with a simple frustration: loving candlelight but hating everything that came with it — the soot on the walls, the smoke, and blowing out candles every time the dog walked past the coffee table.

So we went looking for the best flameless technology on the planet — warming lamps that melt candles from above, real-wax LED candles with flames you can't tell from the real thing — and curated them into one cinematic collection.

Every Glühhaus piece is tested in real homes for one thing: does it make the room feel like a film still? If yes, it joins the collection. If not, it doesn't ship.
